I want to order online and pick up my order in store, is this possible?

Absolutely! When you place your order, the in-store pickup option is offered to you and is free. Please wait until you have been notified by email before picking up your order.

I would like to place an order online and pick it up within 24 hours, is this possible?

Contact us by phone before placing your order (514-658-6852) to check if it is possible for us to process your order quickly. We usually allow a maximum of 36 hours to process an online order.
As soon as the order is ready for collection in store, you will be notified by phone or email.
Please note that orders are processed in the order they are received.

What is the delivery time?

We have a 48h order processing time. When it is ready to be shipped, delivery times will vary depending on the delivery provider. We will do everything to ensure that you receive your order as quickly as possible!

My package arrived damaged, what should I do?

Please contact us by email or phone as soon as possible. We will be happy to discuss the different exchange or refund options with you.

Do you offer better prices if I buy in bulk?

Absolutely! Let us know your need, we will be happy to offer you a competitive "wholesale" price.

Workshops

Where do the workshops take place?

The workshops take place at our workshop-boutique at 1247 rue Bélanger, Montreal.

Do you travel to give a workshop?

Absolutely! Contact us by email for a quote. We will need some information such as the type of workshop, the number of people attending, the facilities present on site, the address of the course location and your availability.

Is it possible to park nearby?

Yes, it is very easy to find free parking nearby.

Will I have time to shop after my workshop?

Yes! Bring your own containers, all our raw materials are available in bulk. We also offer the possibility of purchasing the appropriate containers on site if needed. Each course participant is granted a 10% discount on all products in store on the day of their workshop. Arrive early or stay after your workshop, we will take the time to serve you and answer all your questions.

Do I need to prepare for the workshop?

We advise each participant to arrive 5 minutes early at the shop. Announce yourself as a participant, you will be able to settle in comfortably and pour yourself a good cup of coffee or herbal tea.

For several workshops, we ask to wear closed shoes and long sleeves, we provide personal protective equipment (glasses, aprons, gloves.). Check the description when you register or ask our team to validate your clothing during each workshop.

How far in advance should I register?

First come, first served. Hurry, many workshops fill up very quickly.

Do I have to pay the full course fee to register?

Yes, only full payment reserves your spot. This can be done online or in person at our workshop-boutique.

How can I pay for my workshop registration?

You can pay online or by phone by credit card. You can also make a bank transfer or go to the store to pay cash or Interac.

Payment must be made in full, in one payment.

Are there any fees other than those related to workshop registration?

No surprise fees will be charged to you, everything is included when you register: raw materials, equipment, drinks during the workshop.

What do I bring to a workshop?

Everything is provided in this course (raw materials, course manuals, tools), so you don't have to bring anything except your curiosity!

Cancellation of a course

If the class is cancelled by Tonic, you will have the choice of being 100% refunded or moving your attendance to another available date.

You have to cancel? Contact us 48 hours in advance, depending on availability, another date will be offered to you. In case of no-show, no refund will be made.

Can a child or teenager attend the course?

We offer classes to anyone 13 years of age and older. Any young person under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Please note that our classes require great concentration and that some manipulations require fine dexterity and calm.

We do not offer the soap making class to children under 16 years old.

I would like to register for one of your workshops, however I have reduced mobility. Are your facilities suitable?

Of course! Contact us after your registration so that we can organize your arrival. We have a wheelchair accessible back door with a ramp. Our bathroom is also adapted to your needs.

Do I leave with products after a workshop?

At each workshop you will leave with your course booklet and your made and personalized products.

Do you only give classes on weekends?

Most classes take place on weekends. However, from time to time, some workshops are offered in the evening. You can also contact us to book your private group workshop!

The dates that would suit me are already all filled, do you plan to add more dates, or can I put myself on a waiting list?

New workshop dates are added frequently. Subscribe to our Facebook page to see new dates as they become available.

Products

Are your products organic?

The majority of our raw materials are certified organic, you will see them accompanied by a * on our labels. We try to use organic products as soon as they are available.

How do you use a shampoo bar?

It's so simple! Just rub the shampoo bar on your wet hair. Then you can massage the beautiful foam as you always do. Rinse and voilà!

Can I have a product filled on site?

Almost all of our products are also available in bulk. Bring your jar or bottle and we will be happy to fill it for you. You will save a jar and a little money too!

Workshop-Boutique

Can I get to your store by public transport?

The workshop-boutique is located between the Fabre and Jean-Talon metro stations. You can also take the 95 bus which will drop you off right around the corner!

Are animals allowed in the store?
We are always super happy to meet your animal friends. They are all welcome as long as you can ensure the safety of other guests (we often have children roaming around). We even have little treats for your pooches!
